My name is Naomi Abdilla. I'm from Portland, Oregon. I've been in Denver for 8 years. I graduated with my B.A. in Spanish and then lived in Spain for 2 years. After Spain I received a Masters of Arts in Intercultural Studies. I later pursued a licensure in Elementary Education from Metro State University. I have been teaching in Spanish for 7 years; 4 in First Grade and 3 in Second Grade. My greatest desire as an educator is to inspire and motivate my students to be independent and creative critical thinkers who are prepared to change their community and world. In my free time, I love to run, hike in the mountains, read, travel the world, and spend time with friends and family.
