Second Grade Egyptian Art Show
The second graders have been learning about Egyptian art. They told a story about their lives in three panels. They used hieroglyphics, hieratic scale, registers and the Egyptian pose to tell their stories in the style of the ancient Egyptians. They displayed their artwork in the halls of Castro on March 18th. Here are some photos that show how hard they worked, and the beautiful artwork they created.
