| Hi! My name is Maria Laarman and I am proud to be a Castro cheetah! I was born and raised in North Carolina, graduated from Chapel Hill, and moved to Denver after college. Go Tarheels (I love basketball)! I have been teaching for 19 years in DPS. I have a dog named Oso and he loves to go hiking with me. I teach 5th grade Literacy half of the day and I support the ELA-S teachers with instruction the other half of the day. I love my students and teachers here at Castro! |
